A healthcare entrepreneur, educator, and community development advocate, Mr. Davidson hails from the parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica. He is a graduate of Church Teachers’ College in Mandeville, Jamaica and was awarded a Jamaican Commonwealth Scholarship in 1984 to Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. Mr. Davidson was senior teacher/sports master and geography teacher at Manning’s High School for eight years, migrating to California in 1986 to join his college sweetheart Pauline. He attended California State University and the University of Phoenix earning a Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Healthcare Management.
Mr. Davidson is a member, past President, and current Executive VP of the Jamaica Awareness Association of California since 1994. As President of JAAC he was instrumental in starting a National Medical Mission to Jamaica and established computer technology learning centers in the Primary schools of Jamaica. He has represented JAAC on the NAJASO Board since 1997, and has held executive positions for 12 consecutive years. As NAJASO’s seventh President 2009-2013, he introduced the following initiatives to streamline NAJASO into a vibrant, dynamic organization: established a Young Professional Group; introduced a National PR/Media Chair; created a National Goodwill Ambassador; transformed NAJASO’s accounting system using Quick Books Pro; and expanded NAJASO’s Management and Leadership Team to set the path for a strong and vibrant world class national organization. Mr. Davidson is the Founder of Santa Clarita Home Health 1990-2007 and the current CEO/President of UNI Healthcare since 2003. He has earned numerous national awards for his work as a humanitarian and philanthropist.
