Mr. Earl B. Mitchell

Mr. Earl Mitchell was Corporate Travel Manager at Owens-Corning Fiberglas, a Fortune 500 Corporation for 25 years. His work responsibilities included: managing, budgeting, negotiating, developing, and implementing cost savings programs benefitting over 35,000 employees worldwide. He was also responsible for the development of job training programs for a staff of eight employees and maintained effective communication among corporate management, business associates, and civic and government affiliations nationally and internationally.

Mr. Mitchell attended the West Indies Training College now known as Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Jamaica; the University of Nottingham, England; and the University of Toledo, Ohio where he received his MBA degree. He has written several newspaper articles for publication. An organizer and Founder of the 1968 Toledo West Indian Cricket Club and President of the Jamaican Social Club of Toledo, he has served NAJASO in many official capacities, developing several programs to extend its membership base. He is currently serving as Advisor/Parliamentarian for the Association. Mr. Mitchell has received several awards and recognitions for his services.
